Steve attended Appalachian State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a concentration in accounting,  in 1986.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NC Association of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Upon graduation from ASU he worked for Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now Deloitte & Touche)  from January 1986 to December 1989 where he received his CPA certification in 1988.   From January 1990 to December 1992 he worked with several small local firms in Charlotte, NC and Rock Hill, SC.  In January 1993 he opened his own practice first as “Steve K. Sisk, CPA” and then as “Steve K. Sisk, CPA, PA” and has practiced in Mount Holly, NC since 1993.  His firm has concentrated on individual, corporate and partnership taxation and also provided compilation and review services, bookkeeping, payroll and tax planning services.

 

Steve is a native Gaston County, NC, and has been active in community service where he is a member of First Baptist Church Mt. Holly. He served on the finance team 27 of the previous 30 years (5 years as chairman).  He is a past president and treasurer of the Mount Holly Rotary Club.  He served on the board of directors for the Stowe Family YMCA and Cowans Ford County Club.

 

Steve and his wife, Paige, were married in 1987.  They have a son, daughter, daughter-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters.  Outside of work he enjoys vacationing with family & friends, spending time with their kids and granddaughters, playing golf and riding motorcycles.

Mackenzie received her undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance and later completed her Master of Accountancy—all from UNC Charlotte. She’s been a proud CPA since 2021.

At Sisk, Greene & Associates, Mackenzie is the go-to force behind transitioning and implementing new platforms. With the accounting world constantly evolving, she’s passionate about staying ahead of the curve and using modern technology to keep the Practice running efficiently.

 

She supports a wide range of clients with bookkeeping, financial analysis, payroll processes, and QuickBooks consulting.

Her favorite projects are helping small business owners get organized, clean up their books, and gain peace of mind.

Outside of work, Mackenzie stays busy—and happily so! She’s a mom to three beautiful daughters and she loves spending time with her husband—especially when they’re trying out new restaurants around town. She’s always up for a good TJ Maxx run, enjoys volunteering in her community, and treasures the support and connection she finds with her Depot Church family.  When she gets a rare quiet moment, you’ll likely find her with a good coffee in one hand and a great book in the other.
